The Club House

The clubhouse was rebuilt in 1996/97 to provide a modern, comfortable and attractive facility -  it has also been held up as an example to other clubs of how to undertake a clubhouse redevelopment. There are all the facilities expected of a leading private club, including a restaurant, attractive bar, comfortable lounge, quality changing rooms and a snooker room.

The bar, lounge and restaurant all open out onto a terrace with the 18th green a few yards away for those grandstand finishes. With views to Glastonbury Tor, the Mendips, the Brendons, Exmoor,  the Vale of Taunton, the Quantocks and the Blackdowns laid out in front of the clubhouse, it is the ideal place to enjoy a convivial drink and re-live the best shots of the round.

The two key people responsible for running the clubhouse are Mr Gavin Baynes, the Managing Chef and Mrs Debbie Cleverly, the Bar Manager.
