The Golf Club

"It is well said that golf is always played in beautiful places. Pickeridge is no exception and the views from the Course and in particular the Clubhouse are outstanding."
P E G Smith, President 1976-1993

Taunton & Pickeridge is a traditional members' golf club set on Pickeridge Hill in the Blackdown Hills about 3 miles outside Taunton. The golf course was designed by Mr Henry Fowler out of the rolling contours of the land and has views over the Vale of Taunton and the countryside for miles beyond. It is a course of traditional design and though not a long course, it is still a very good test of golf. In recent years, the condition of the course has improved markedly and we like to think that our greens are as good as you will find anywhere in Somerset.  A new Clubhouse was added in 1997.

If you are seeking an enjoyable and memorable day's golf in Somerset,

Taunton & Pickeridge is the perfect location.
